Just Jazz presents the 2009 Summer Jazz Series to be held on Friday evenings from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.  Originally designed as an introduction to the Jazz at Newport jazz party on October 2-4, 2009, the informal jazz evenings will be held in the Lobby of the Performing Arts Center from July 10 through September 25 and feature local and regional artists.

Tickets are only $7.00 and available at the Performing Arts Center on the day of the performance. The popular series highlights the wealth of musical talent available in this area and the affordable ticket price is intended to encourage students, visitors and coastal residents to come out and listen to some great music.  Leading off the 12 weeks of entertainment on July 10 will be Eugene artists Halie Loren (vocals) and Matt Treder (piano)  and the grand finale on September 25 will feature the popular local band, Perpetua.

Food and beverage service is provided by Quimbys. Mike Downing has selected the finest in coastal fare to compliment the summer evenings.  Come early and enjoy a light meal before the evening's entertainment.
